After the cards are dealt, each player plays one card to the center of the table to form the "trick" but each of the four suits can only be played once per trick. The player who plays the highest card wins the trick except that the three lowest cards in the deck (1, 2, 3 in yellow) win the trick if one of the three highest cards (16, 17, 18 in red) is played.
