My inspiration for these lovely little wished-for children came one evening when I was going to a maternity visit

They are very spoiled and are well fed, so there isn't much speed when they waddle across the courtyard. At Christmas, the elves decorate them with a small bow around their necks, so all the elves know that these two must not be served at the Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve.
