The extracted juice is fermented in wooden containers and then distilled twice in a copper pot still . All bottles are numbered and bottled at the place of production. Tier San Juan Del Rio is an unaged mezcal. crystalline in color. On the palate it is warm and intense, with flavors ranging from smoky herbs to chocolate.
