The palate impression of the tautly muscular middle weight flavors is completely different as this is quite firm and robust with good power that carries over to the balanced and impressively persistent finish. This is certainly Gevrey in character but thanks to the relatively fine grained tannins it avoids any sense of rusticity. Recommended. (89 92)
