Ampeleia "Kepos", 2019 Jumilla Appellation: DOCa Rioja (subregion: RiojaRed cherry fruit, violets, pine needle brush, sweet strawberry, cedar on nose. Palate is centered on cherry, strawberry + raspberry meringue notes. Ampeleia was established in 2002 as a collaboration of cult winemaker Elisabetta Foradori and friends, currently led by Marco Tait. The Sassoforte vineyard from which the fruit comes looks like a lush, wild garden surrounded by tall cork, olive and myrtle trees "Kepos" evokes "garden" in Greek. Blend of
